Imagine A World Without Police Ep. 4 ‘Trauma and Policing (p.1): An Abusive Relationship’
This edition of our Wednesday community conversations, will begin a four part series focusing on the relationship between trauma and policing: this includes trauma for community members, those who suffer, witness, or find themselves adjacent to police violence, and trauma for those who work in the criminal legal system, including police officers and their families. We will discuss policing’s relationship to domestic and sexual violence, and the many ways in which the community sees itself trapped in an abusive relationship with our current police system.
